Field Operations (PSD)

PSD

The Field Operations branch of PSD is responsible for security, protection, and investigation.

PSD personnel conduct patrols in and around District properties in marked vehicles, bikes, segways, and on foot. These locations include the high profile offices of the Mayor and City Council, located in the historic John A. Wilson Building at 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.

PSD protects and secures both occupied and vacant properties, in addition to the District personnel that work in and maintain the properties.
