The District of Columbia’s Office of Property Management (OPM) is seeking information and qualifications on data centers that meet the following criteria for the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO). The District of Columbia requires the network infrastructure co-location services for a data center which is equal to or better than a TIA-942 classification Tier 3 data center facility for mainframe and computing services. Security and environmental controls, as well as reliable, redundant connectivity and electric power must be monitored and maintained at all times. The up-time industry standard of 99.982 must be achieved for high level performance to support business-to-business mission-critical Internet applications.

Space Requirement: 5,000 to 7,500 RSF of contiguous, caged (or “strong room”) space plus 200-400 RSF of office hotelling space

Term: 5 year term with two (2) 5-year options OR 10 year term

Commencement: 2nd Quarter of the District of Columbia’s 2009 Fiscal Year, which is January through March of 2009

Delineated Area: Up to 65 miles of the District of Columbia city limits

Rent: Please state the rent on a full service basis per rentable square foot.

Interested and/or authorized individuals with qualifying properties must submit proposals responsive to the terms, conditions, and technical specifications set forth in the SFO (
OPM-SFO-IN-2008-2*). Each response package must be in accordance with Section C (Proposal Form, Organization and Content) of the SFO. All offerors must complete OPM’s Lessor’s Proposed Annual Costs Statement (
DC OPM Form S-101*), Proposal to Lease Space (
DC OPM Form S-102 TIA*), and Conditions for Applying to Solicitation and Offeror's Acknowledgement (
DC OPM Form S-103*).
All proposals should clearly reference Solicitation No.
