Patrol Sectors (PSD) 

PSD

PSD Sector 1 (blue): Covers MPD District 1 and 5

Sector 1 encompasses the most owned and leased buildings of all the sectors and is the largest of the three patrol sectors.  Sector 1 is comprised of Metropolitan Police (MPD) First and Fifth Districts. Major buildings include the John Wilson Building, Daly Building (Metropolitan Police Departments Headquarter) and One Judiciary Square.

PSD Sector 2 (green): Covers MPD District 2, 3, and 4

Sector 2 is made up of Metropolitan Police (MPD) Second, Third and Fourth Districts. One of the major district facilities in Sector 2 is the Reeves Center.

PSD Sector 3 (red): Covers MPD District 6 and 7

PSD Sector 3 is made up of Metropolitan Police (MPD) Sixth and Seventh Districts. Major buildings include the Unified Communications Center and St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.

Commander, Patrol Sectors

PSD

Commander Collins has worked in the field of Law Enforcement and Private Security for over 29 years.  Commander Collins started his career as a Military Police Officer where he proudly served for 17 years, stationed stateside and abroad. During his tenure in the military, his expertise included Logistics Officer, Watch Commander, and Military Instructor.  He taught primary and advance leadership courses at the Maryland Military Academy. Commander Collins has also worked in the Executive Protection Sector dealing with domestic and foreign dignitaries as well as providing protective services as a Deputized Marshal for the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration Customs Enforcement Agency. He currently teaches CPR/ AED/ FA for PSD and the American Red Cross. Commander Collins is a graduate from the Maryland Architectural Drafting Institute. He also has received extensive training from and is a member of the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association.
