Solicitation for Offers ("SFO") 

The District of Columbia’s Office of Property Management (OPM) has decided to issue an additional SFO for qualifying properties that meet the following criteria for consideration by the Department of Human Services (DHS) program needs. 

Respondents to the initial SFO need not re-submit.  Offers submitted in response to the initial SFO will be considered accordingly.

  • Requirements: 10 - 40 unit vacant apartment buildings that are comprised primarily of two (2) or more bedrooms per unit. Four unit buildings eligible if conveyed in three (3) or more attached buildings. Single family homes consisting of not less than three bedrooms.
  • Locations: Buildings located throughout the District of Columbia
  • Tentative Settlement Date: 1st Quarter 2009
  • Use: To be determined based on agency needs
  • Delineated Area: Within the boundaries of the District of Columbia, Metro Accessible
  • Parking: Not less than one parking space per every two units is preferable
  • Sales Price: Negotiable
  • Condition of Space: It is preferable that buildings are offered/delivered completely renovated and unoccupied. Buildings that include units that are accessible according to the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG standard) are highly desirable.
  • Deadline: 12 noon, January 15, 2009
Interested and/or authorized individuals with qualifying properties must complete DC OPM Form S-104*.
 
This solicitation for offers should not be considered an offer to purchase and the Government of the District of Columbia reserves the right to withdraw its solicitation at any time.
