Recycling

RecyclingDid you know that all owners and occupants of commercial property in the District are required to seperate recyclables from solid waste?

The District government recycles paper, cardboard, mixed glass, plastics, metal, toner cartridges, office electronics and construction material.

The Department of Real Estate Services provides recycling containers, offers general program information and training assistance, and provides technical support to tenant agencies.

To learn more about recycling in the District, please visit the Department of Public Works Office of Recycling.
