Maintenance & Repairs

Maintenance & Repairs

District Employees

District employees can make service requests online by accessing the FAST maintenance request system on the DRES intranet website.  FAST is a user friendly webpage for submitting service requests in District facilities – resulting in faster and more accurate resolution of customer requests. This real time notification system also allows employees to track their request from start to finish through an easy to use, online intranet webpage.

The FAST system aims to create a high level of accountability and customer service and acts as a reliable source for tracking work orders and preventive maintenance.  The system captures real time activity; including routing, response, resolution and the associated costs for each request. In addition, FAST improves the speed and quality of work through the use of Service Level Agreements and online surveys.

Non-District Employees

Non-District employees should call (202) 671-0136 during normal business hours (8:30am – 5:30pm) or call (202) 698-5278 after hours.
