Grimke Building Window Replacement
Address: 1923 Vermont Avenue, NW
 
Project Description
This project will remove and repair existing windows, brick painting, and roof cornice and gutters along with other incidental envelope repairs.  Due to the historical nature of this project, 25 percent of the windows will be replaced and 75 percent will be refurbished. The windows date back to the 1940s along with the wooden window sashes.
 
Schedule 
Design: Winter 2008, Projected Completion – Summer 2008, Percent Complete – 40 percent
Construction: Fall 2008, Projected Completion – Spring 2009
