Jim South
Senior Deputy Director

Senior Deputy Director Jim South

As a Senior Deputy Director, Jim South brings more than ten years of supply chain and business operations experience and expertise to the Department of Real Estate Services (DRES). Jim spent seven years as a Senior Manager for the Supply Chain Service Line Operations and Fulfillment division of Accenture, LLP. Among Jim’s many accomplishments, he managed and reviewed the supply operations of more than 90 installations across the globe for the United States Navy Commander Navy Installations Command (CNIC).

Jim also developed detailed supply chain strategies and centralized distribution to improve planning and procurement processes for a variety of Global Fortune 100 companies. Jim led initiatives for a number of companies to reduce operations costs, while simultaneously improving performance.

Jim has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania with a dual concentration in Finance and Strategic Management.
